Plan around the time you will be ready
Scheduled landing is only the beginning of arrival. Immigration, luggage collection and customs come before a rental handover or hotel transfer. A delay in any step can push the start of the road journey later.
Build your first night around a flexible arrival window. Avoid treating the landing time as the time you will leave the rental office.
Confirm service hours before traveling
Ask Natural to confirm your booking's pickup instructions, available hours and what to do if the flight is delayed. After-hours arrangements must be explicit; this guide does not promise a round-the-clock service.
Send the flight number and date in advance. Save the contact number and pickup message offline so a weak mobile connection does not leave you searching through email outside the terminal.
Choose a practical overnight base
Look at the hotel's exact position relative to both SJO and the next morning's route. Confirm late check-in and the transport or parking arrangement. A property using San José in its name can still involve a substantial drive from the terminal.
If you collect the car that evening, keep the first drive short and straightforward. If collection is arranged for the next morning, confirm how you will get from the hotel to the handover location.
Begin the longer journey rested
Use the morning for a deliberate vehicle check, breakfast and route review. A daylight departure makes unfamiliar turns and the final hotel approach easier to assess.
Keep the arrival-night essentials together: identification, confirmation, a change of clothing and anything needed immediately. A simple overnight plan protects the rest of the holiday when flights run late.
Before you go
- Save the confirmed pickup or return instructions offline.
- Check the airport code and the rental location.
- Allow time for luggage and vehicle handover.
- Keep the first or final drive realistic.
